The Zonta Club of New York was the 20th club chartered by Zonta International in May 1923.
Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the
professions working together to advance the legal, political, economic, education, health and
professional status of women.
Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, the International headquarters is located in Oak Brook, Illinois.
Zonta International has 1,249 clubs with 32,600 members in 67 countries.
Zonta International is divided into 32 districts around the world.
The Zonta Club of New York is located in District 3, comprised of 38 clubs in five states (New York,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
